“This graphic novel — the funny and sad tale of a great lesbian writer’s struggle to find herself — is deftly told. (...) Nobody could have done it better.” - New York Times (Critic’s Pick and Notable Book of 2022)

Before she wrote the best-selling crime novel, Strangers on a Train, Patricia Highsmith had a job she disdained: writing comics.
A drinker, smoker, womanizer and misanthrope, Pat’s brain churns with noir images of murder and sabotage, of the great novel she could be creating—if she wasn’t trapped writing stories she hated while being hindered by the expectations imposed on her as a woman in the 1950’s. In a misguided attempt to conform, Pat enrolls in gay conversion therapy, where she meets many of her next sexual conquests and is inspired to write a groundbreaking novel that would vault her to legend. Flung Out of Space is an imagined but unflinching portrait of an artist as well as a provoking analysis of what it means to be a writer at any time in history who is struggling to say something new.

What makes content "appropriate" for teenagers? A high school drama club wrestles with that question as a pivotal school board meeting decides whether or not to allow them to perform a controversial play. Confronting the delicate balance between free speech, censorship, and artistic expression, the students covertly meet to read and discuss the play in question. As tensions rise, the audience becomes the deciding factor, casting real-life votes to choose between two endings: one where the show goes on, and one where it doesn't.
One of the goals I had when writing Explicit Content was to explore the way teenagers, who are very impacted by censorship but rarely given a voice on this topic, feel about adults limiting their access to content and information. The play was written in close collaboration with a group of exceptionally kind, generous, and opinionated teenagers. Many moments in the play were lifted verbatim from our conversations.

It takes a village to raise a warrior…and the Amazons have a lot on their hands with Diana. Can she harness the power of truth and community to become the hero we know as WONDER WOMAN?
Curious and rambunctious Diana thinks she has the whole warrior thing figured out: punching, archery, sword fighting… But as the village prepares for a festival celebrating the story of Hero—the first hero in Greek mythology—Diana and her goat, Phyllis, cause such chaos that she must embark on a journey to… clean up her mess. With the help of the Amazon’s vivid yet unreliable retellings of Hero’s story, what starts out as a boring chore becomes an epic adventure as Diana learns what it truly means to be a hero.

It's the first day of summer break in the sleepy town of Liberty View, and young Lois Lane bursts onto the scene with what she knows is a sure-to-go-viral video channel. Okay, maybe her platform only receives two views a week (thanks, Mom), and maybe her best friend, Kristen, isn't quite as enthusiastic about social media, but when Lois sets her mind on something, there's no turning back.
At the end of the week, the big neighborhood barbecue and bike race will be the perfect backdrop to Lois and Kristen's #friendshipchallenge video. But when the girls find out the annual fireworks are missing, Lois doubles down on her efforts for fame, testing her friendship in ways she couldn't imagine.
With Kristen leaving for sleepaway camp after the barbeque and a new girl on the block taking all of Kristen's attention, will Lois be able to find the missing fireworks, celebrate the summer, and post the best #friendshipchallenge the internet has ever seen? Or will she have to face her challenges IRL?
